The pool is finished in granulated sand, which makes the water more crystal clear. The BioDesign swimming pool creates a leisure area that perfectly integrated into the landscape of La Casa di Alice. Just dip into the cool water, close your eyes and enjoy the holiday: the inviting sloped sides of the pool lead you gently into the water as if on a Caribbean shore.
In the evening, a set of underwater led lights illuminate the pool, and you can enjoy the pleasure of a refreshing swim or relax amidst the bubbles and enjoy an open-air hydromassage.
The pool combines pleasure and safety for you and your children!
AFTER LAZING IN BED, INDULGE YOURSELF WITH BREAKFAST > THE OPEN-SPACE KITCHEN
Let's face it: You cannot start a whole day of leisure without a hearty breakfast! This is why our kitchen has a large breakfast table made especially for us by a skillful local carpenter.
Everybody eventually comes down to breakfast at their own pace, with nothing to do but dig into the stack of croissants, or literally load a slice of freshly baked bread with homemade jam, before diving into the swimming pool just outside the kitchen door.
MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME: WE CATER GLUTEN FREE FOOD.
Breakfast is an occasion to treat oneself to something special. We have learnt lots of new recipes and have become rather creative in the kitchen because of our own food allergies and intolerances: we bake gluten and lactose free breads and cakes daily. So, if you have particular dietary needs feel free to share them with us. We love taking care of our guests’ wellbeing down to the detail.
By the way, no need for slippers, barefoot is just fine!
TURNING BACK THE CLOCK > THE LOUNG WITH THE BILLIARD TABLE
A choice we made not really thinking about it too much, we just liked the idea of a billiard table in the nook of the lounge in front of the stonewall. It has instead, become the hub of evening entertainment!
Very often our guests stop by and turn back the clock to when they were schoolboys, maybe even playing a little "bully" around the green table. Don't mix up rack and rake: what is on the wall near the table is not a billiard stick rack, but the rake my grandfather used to gather hay!
The lounge at La Casa di Alice is the place for everyone: you can play billiards, lie down for a nap, snuggle up and read a book, chit chat or tell ones deepest secrets, or even sit and think about what you want to do when you grow up.
